Most people drive to the Chippewa Motel. Mount Pleasant is a big city within central Michigan at the confluence of the US-127 and M-20 highways. The motel is located right on M-20 (E Pickard Rd), only one or two minutes from the US-127 exit, so it is most easily found by incoming guests. The property provides typical motel accommodations with free ample parking available right at your door which suits best to the vehicle holders and proves high level of comfort along with security.

One of the more common airports for air travelers is Saginaw’s MBS International Airport (MBS), which is about 45-50 minutes driving to the motel, while other alternatives embrace Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport (LAN), which lies at an approx 60 minute drive and Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids (GRR), which is about 90 minutes. Renting a car at any of these airports turns into a must since so far, there has been no such direct public shuttle or bus service that makes its way to Mount Pleasant.

Local transportation to the city is not ample. There’s this local I-Ride system that covers the Mount Pleasant area (which you might use once in town) but then there’s no taxi or passenger rail system. Long-distance bus options are few and far between. The Chippewa Motel is best reached by personal or rental vehicle, making it an ideal base from which to further explore the surrounding regions.
