The Chippewa Motel is conveniently located on East Pickard Road (M-20), in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Its big walkable destination is Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. It lies under a mile from the entrance to the casino; therefore, it is a pleasant and safe 20-minute walk for someone wishing to spend an evening gaving or to see a concert without wrangling with the car or parking. This location is the motel’s greatest asset and serves as a huge attraction to visitors. The Soaring Eagle complex itself has quite many things to do with very posh restaurants, a buffet, a concert room, and of course, the casino floor.

The motel’s location on a busy commercial strip serves very immediate and practical needs. Burger King, Taco Bell, and local pizzerias offer fast-food staples within a 5-10 minute walk for guests. Just steps away stands one gas station with a convenience store that sells drinks, ice, and snacks to take back to your room. Very suitable for the motorist who would only stop over to refuel as well as rest the night.

While ideal for reaching the casino and the conveniences of the highway, it can’t be considered as centrally located with respect to other attractions in Mount Pleasant.
